OTTAWA, ON. JUNE 25, 2013 --- CLOSEUP of principal cellist, Amanda Forsyth, with her hair in a bun and high heels on. The National Arts Centre unveiled a model of the NAC Orchestra made entirely of toothpicks Tuesday. Made by long-time NAC subscriber, Go Sato (pictured), the 61-man orchestra is made exactly to a 1:17 scale, requiring 12,500 toothpicks, and three years to make.
