Décès d'un wagnérien

Le baryton-bassiste allemand Gerd Grochowski est décédé hier d'une crise cardiaque. Il avait 60 ans.
Gerd Grochowski était Klingsor dans le Parsifal de Bayreuth l'été dernier à Bayreuth.
Après 15 ans à l'Opéra de Bonn, il avait développé une carrière internationale largement consacrée à Wagner avec Kurnewal au Met, Kurwenal et Gunther à La Scala et Teleramund à Covent Garden.
Patrice Chereau l'avait choisi pour la production de From the House of the Dead au Festival de Vienne.
